Location: Newark, Telford or Home-based

Role Purpose

As a Project Manager you will be responsible for managing virtual technical teams and resources to deliver projects to our customer base, on time, on budget and effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• The delivery of complex projects to scope, on time and in budget. Projects will include a broad spectrum of products and services including private, hybrid and public cloud offerings, MPLS/PWAN and SDWAN networks, a selection of voice solutions and more
• Ensure that project delivery conforms to the Digital Space’s implementation methodology, change processes and ISO procedures
• Be responsible for all aspects of projects from the initiation through to completion and transition and handover to BAU
• Manage key stakeholder & sponsor expectations with clear, concise and effective communication
• Assemble and manage project resources, including identifying resource requirements
• Drive cross-functional & virtual project teams to achieve project objectives, providing appropriate direction and support
• Identify and implement appropriate remediation actions to bring project back into control as required
• Conduct retrospectives and post project reviews to identify lessons learned that can be incorporated into future projects
• Facilitate project meetings and cross-functional workshops
• Proactively anticipate and work towards mitigating risks to project execution or stakeholder engagement

Experience Required

• Proven experience of delivering successful projects end-to-end including budgetary ownership
• Demonstrable experience of delivering client facing projects in a fast paced technology focused environment
• Experience in end to end managed services
• Experience delivering large scale network projects – MPLS/PWAN and SDWAN

Knowledge And Skills

• Industry standard Project Management certifications - Prince2 Practitioner or PMP
• Able and willing to multi-task & manage between 5-10 projects simultaneously (size dependent)
• Strong stakeholder management, interpersonal and relationship management skills
• Excellent oral, presentation and written communication skills
• Experienced user of MS Office toolset (Word, Excel and PowerPoint & Project)
• Totally fluent with project management terminology from experience in delivery – plans, risk, issue, assumptions, dependencies, change, milestones, deliverables/products, RAG status, reporting.
