Team Members: Mike Spain, André Cocuccio, David Parker, John Howe, Philip Crump, Christopher Martin, Keith Tatman, Sean Cullen, Fergal McGrathINIS Hydro is a £3.2m EU-funded INTERREG IVA seabed mapping project to standardise and facilitate cross-border seabed data acquisition between the UK and Ireland. Led by the Maritime and Coastguard Agency, the aims of the project are to foster co-operation and good working practise in the collection of high quality marine mapping baseline data in key geographical areas off Northern Ireland, the Border Region of Ireland, and Western Scotland. Project partners include the Agri-Food & Biosciences Institute (AFBI), the Geological Survey of Ireland (GSI), the Marine Institute (MI), the Northern Lighthouse Board (NLB), the Scottish Association for Marine Science (SAMS) and the UK Hydrographic Office (UKHO).
