Lydia Gilroy's Summary
As a soon to be SHU graduate in PR and Communications, I have just undertaken a dissertation based around Arts Council England's use of social media since the 2010 government spending review. This was to broaden my knowledge of the arts sector, of which I hope to work in in the near future.
I am now looking for PR/Marketing/Communications internships and work experience to build upon the skills I have learnt over the course of my degree and gain practical experience. I hope this will further develop my knowledge and understanding of the workings of the PR industry.
My interests lie mainly in the arts sector and I am particularly passionate about making the arts readily available and engaging to people of all backgrounds. However interests also lie in the food and drink sector and heritage and museums.
