Summary

My name is Luke Walker I am currently based in North Wales, I have over Six years experience as a wind turbine technician,supervisor,co-ordinator,Manager and Client Representative. I am also a fully qualified and competent Siemens Instructor for working at heights and technical training.

I have a wide range of mechanical, electrical and health and safety knowledge, skills I believe are essential when working as a competent technician, supervisor and Offshore Manager. I am also H.V qualified 12kv-36 Kv (Terminations).

Offshore Cable Terminations Supervisor/Client representative

The Cable Terminations Supervisor is responsible for the following tasks:

Walkdown, Inspection and sign off of all terminations completed by the contrcator

• Reporting of all Environmental, Health and Safety incidents and near misses.

• Alerting the CTM promptly to any perceived risks as they arise.

• Assist in the reviewing and preparation of all documentation (letters, reports etc) relating to claims, variations etc whether received from the Contractor or to be issued by the CTM.

• Produce a daily progress report (DPR)

• Assessing design, method or equipment changes and advising the CTM.

• Assessing and auditing Contractor’s documentation – e.g. H&S Plan, QA plan, Installation Procedures etc.

• Ensure that the Contractor presents copies of and maintains a register of all applications and permits which are required to be obtained by the Contractor for any aspect of the works.

• Conduct TP and OSP inspections once work is completed, generate snag lists as required, witness testing activities and advise the CTM of any issues.

• Monitoring and recording weather.

• Ensure that the Contractor fulfils the requirements of the Terminations contract scope of work.

• Instructing the Contractor to stop the Works for immediate environment, health and safety or product safety reasons.

• Promptly identify and notify the CTM on any issue that may arise or have the potential to arise during the course of the works and provide assistance in resolving any issues.

• Assist and liaise with other contractors.

• Assist with the coordination and management of deliveries for cable termination accessories at the base harbour port to the installation contractor.

Cable Installation & Diving Operations Client Representative

• Instructing the Contractor to stop the Works for immediate environment, health and safety or product safety reasons.

• Promptly identify and notify the PM on any issue that may arise or have the potential to arise during the course of the works and provide assistance in resolving any issues.

• Assist and liaise with other contractors.

• Coordinate and manage the delivery of the cable Installation alongside The diving Operations Offshore Manager
