Within JCP I had a few roles. Starting initially wih the Benefits Agency as part of the Medical Referrals team as part of the Incapacity Benefits Section. Scoring medical reports, advising customers of their eligibility to benefits, reconsideration and appeals process. Moving shortly to Jobcentre Plus were I facilitated a local Initiative within Halton area, signposting those customers in receipt of health related benefits to the most suitable provider who could support them into employment.
Successful in my application for detached duty to Direct Payments Team, where I managed a small team responsible for engaging with all customers across Greater Mersey District making payments from Giro to Bank Accounts.
