Deceptively strong project assistant and freelance journalist. Interested in arts education, social media and social justice.
Over the past five years I've managed classes, coordinated teams and have, on more than one occasion, taken charge of a trapeze class. I've worked with various arts organisations in this capacity, including Tate, Frieze and Oklahoma Contemporary. I've also worked closely with artists to develop imaginative strategies for project management and team guidance. Recently, I've spent a summer sifting through rubbish for artist Joshua Sofaer's aptly named Rubbish Collection project and almost given myself repetitive shock syndrome tweeting for Suzanne Lacy's Silver Action.
In addition, I write, edit and commission pieces for The Leopard's culture section. I write compelling area guides, documentary film reviews, and review 21st century art books from publishers like Phaidon as well as small presses. I also set up interviews between our 100 dedicated journalists and musicians, artists, curators, publishers, and restauranteurs.
Contributing Writer to The Parents Project, a website dedicated exclusively toward helping parents understand their LGBTQ kids.
Culture Editor of Goldsmiths' student-run, student-led newspaper. I commission and edit all our culture content for online and print, as well as writing articles myself. I liaise with musicians, record labels, galleries, museums, artists, community events organisers, restaurants, and their respective press teams to guarantee that staff, artists of all kinds and most importantly, readers have an exciting, informed and political culture outlet.

Having been promoted from my previous role at Frieze London and New York, I am turning my hand to London's Frieze Masters fair this year as a supervisor. In this role I am in charge of running the cloakroom and managing the 8 staff under me. The role involves arranging staff breaks and dealing with all aspects of the fair, including liaising with senior staff and visitors alike.

Supporting artist Joshua Sofaer in the realisation of Phase 1 of the Rubbish Collection Project; sorting and documenting the rubbish over a 30 day period, alongside Science Museum staff and volunteers.
Managing the archive, directing volunteers and assisting with collecting and moving the rubbish around the Museum and exhibition space. Coordinating with all elements of the museums including curatorial staff, porters, cleaners, and the artist himself. Communicating the project to visitors and assisting them with the process of documenting the rubbish.
My favourite moment was helping the be-spectacled, be-suited and bemused senior curator of the Tekniska Museet sort through rubbish.

I worked as an assistant for Frieze Art Fair in New York in May 2013 and then again in London in October.
