As a Business Manager my role is to ensure that clients receive their quotes on time and that RAP have completely understood their needs. At RAP Office Interiors we are proud of our excellent high standards we provide clients looking for office refurbishment, office space and office furniture. My role and responsibilities have expanded to include all areas of markeing, setting budgets, auditing health and safety for the office and contractors on site.
Provided high levels of customer service, dealing with queries efficiently and effectively. Actively working in and supporting the cash and counter area. Building rapport with customers being able to influence effectively.
Provided support to the Business Manager in all areas to grow and manage an active portfolio of business customers To ensure the current and prospective customers had a consistent and exceptional customer experience through superior service.
Assessing and processing personal lending application forms in a professional, efficient and accurate way. Identifying opportunities for cross selling the banks other products and services.
Responsible for the daily supervision and control of workflow, actively working in and supporting cash and counter area. Grew in confidence, motivating others to work effectively within a fast paced environment. Ensured policies, procedures and standards of conduct were communicated and appropriately understood by the team. Indetified any breaches, problem areas and then developed a corrective action plan.
Worked through the traditional banking positions, maintained accurate records in all areas - processing daily over the counter workflow, balance cash book and servicetills, prepare monthly balance statements, processing standing orders and direct debit requests, Unpaids in & out, account opening and closing, processing customers foreign money requests and processing CHAPS and international payments.
Working with a high end Property Consultancy company in Brighton, RAP secured a 7000 sq ft strip out and refurbishment of office space, ready for their new tenant. Based in Queen Street the refurbishment project ran for 7 weeks, fitting out to CAT A standard, acoustic control, with Air conditioning, flooring, partitions, ceilings, decorations, lighting. RAP also refurbished two sets of washroom facilities.
RAP Interiors were engaged to create new 4 person Meeting room to the side of existing Boardroom, with double glazed Polar glass system, integral office partitions, 1 cellular office for the Director of Mitsubishi. On the Ground Floor we removed 1 office and Meeting room to create 8 new desk positions. Supplying Orangebox chairs, Rap completed the project in 8 days with decorations, office air conditioning, office electrics and office lighting configuration.
The 6 week project allowed the client to relocate on time and the project was agreed within the budget.
Sevenoaks Office Refurbishment from CAT A office space to new fit out of space showing Meeting roms, Teapoint area and open plan office area for Accounts staff. Reconfiguration of space to accomodate 25 personnel, including the desgn and install of office furniture.
Adding value at the stage when a landlord needed to inspire new tenants into his commercial building, RAP created designs to show how the space could be used.
