Vjem Events (pronounced v-gem) is a small talented team of project and event managers led by Event Director Veronica Jones.
Our team specialise in the planning and delivery of live and special events servicing the public, third and private sectors. We have worked with a range of clients including Business Link, LB Lambeth and Hackney Council for Voluntary Services, to achieve specific objectives using various event formats such as festivals, carnivals, fun days, dinner dances, exhibitions, conferences and concerts. Past events include the One Love Hackney festivals, Southend on Sea's Cultural Olympiad handover ceremony, LB Lambeth International Day and Hackney Carnival. Veronica has worked on high profile events namely the Notting Hill Carnival, Reading and Leeds festivals and the Lord Mayor's Show.
Vjem Events also provide a venue finding service which is absolutely free and very popular with our clients. 2007 saw the launch of our event training programme which runs throughout the year and is often tailored to our client’s needs and delivered in-house.
Our Creative Us programme sets out to train young people with skills in project management, site management, event design and marketing, and provides them with work experience to increase their employability in the events industry.
In 2010, Vjem will be launching The London Culture Festival. Further details to follow.
