I work with people at both management and non-management level on improving their performance, through good management of themselves and others. I provide learning opportunities for developing skills, changing behaviour and attitudes, and building confidence.
The foundation for my work is Transactional Analysis, which provides rich metaphors and models to help us to understand personality, relationships and interactions between people. TA was founded by Eric Berne and continues to be developed by expert practitioners. I also use cognitive-behavioural techniques, MBTI and positive psychology.
My two main specialisms are:
Interpersonal skills and communication for both managers and non-managers. The ways people behave and communicate towards staff, colleagues and customers have a vital impact on their own performance and that of others.
Women's development - I provide the National Training Award winning Springboard Women's Development Programme for development of non-management and junior management women for talent management, diversity and engagement programmes. I coach women managers and have experience and understanding of the issues for women in organisations and in themselves.
I am an experienced writer and editor of e-learning, blended learning, and training materials. I can help organisations design and develop their own learning modules and courses. I have a National Open College Certificate in Designing and Writing E-learning Content, and over ten years experience in educational publishing.
I have over 10 years' experience of providing training courses and over 250 hours' of one-to-one coaching. (ILM Diplomas at levels 5 and 7)
