At this time I was responsible for the management of a deployment tracking and reporting Toolset used to plan and monitor the global deployment of Vista.
My primary focus was on maturing the operation of the Toolset and increasing the end user satisfaction, the key challenge was to quickly address operational issues during ever increasing usage of the tools, and to provide clear lines of communication from and to the team to increase productivity.
I was also responsible for managing the vendor relationship for the Project Vista deployment for the supply of $60,000,000 worth of new hardware. There were numerous long running issues with the hardware vendor for which I was responsible for leading the resolution. -

As part of the Architecture team I was heavily involved in development of the clients Next Generation Microsoft Vista client for 70,000 desktops globally, this has included providing a single image solution for multiple build scenarios.
During my time in this role I also coordinated the client and deployment solution testing and maintained strict pharmaceutical Quality & Compliance documentation required to release the client.
I also developed a localisation solution to allow for the mid deployment localisation of the Microsoft Vista client, Microsoft Office Communicator and Microsoft Office 2007 suite. -
