The role also involved motivating, training and supporting my team during a variety of situations, whilst also being required to use my initiative to solve problems 'on the spot' which may not have been encountered before.
Whilst this role could be challenging, I found it very rewarding as it gave me the opportunity to improve my interpersonal skills and my ability to prioritise/multi-task during stressful situations.
I was responsible for helping a mid-sized business make the best use of technology available. I advised the managing director on the various systems which could be used to improve all aspects of the business, and thus improve the business’ overall profitability.
