Sarah Hammond’s Summary

A versatile, pragmatic, highly-organised, about-to-qualify librarian with broad employment and educational background. Strong academic ability backed up with considerable experience working with people of all ages and excellent interpersonal and communication skills now seeking to develop a career in librarianship in an organisation that values progression and career development.

Worked in the NHS, primary and secondary education. Also got a background in pure science - almost pursued a degree in chemistry rather than psychology. Good lab skills as a result!

Worked in many public-facing roles to which I bring a very strong customer service ethic.
