Responsible for costuming the crowd for a major motion picture in 18th Century costume of up to 150 Supporting Artists per filming day. Responsibilities included pulling costumes from stock, costume fittings, costume transportation, organisation and planning from scene to scene, seeing the costumes onto the set, standing by, costume continuity, cleaning and, once shot on, returning the costumes to the costume house.

As well as using all the skills I acquired as an Assistant Designer on the BBC series of "Doctor Who", my skills were further put to the test on the forthcoming series of "Wallander" where I was required to work in 3 different countries and undertake tasks such as commissioning mass production of uniforms in foreign speaking factories. I was responsible for part of the costume budget and had to submit regular accounts updates.

I worked as an Assistant for a well known Costume Designer, helping to make, buy, fit and see the costumes onto the set. My work included briefing tailors and costume makers and building strong relationships with various different companies around the world to assist in the making and production of costumes and apply a range of fabric altering techniques such as pleating and dying. I pulled costume stock from costume hire companies, negotiated rates and costings and organised transportation to ensure the costumes arrived on time in the correct place.
