Robert Strachan’s Summary

Robert Strachan (born 1987 in London) has a passion for games design to further involve himself with the subject he has studied (BA) Games Design from The University of Wales: Newport school of art and design. His formal studies have primarily focused on creating contemporary design, built upon a fundamental understanding of traditional design principles. To maintain an innovative perspective on games design he studies from multiple disciplines to develop an informed working practice that is not limited to just an individual media influence. Informing his work produced for games design, interactive media, animation and illustration.
His work has been shown at Gamecity 2009, an international festival of games design in Nottingham in addition, his published writing on games can be found in the University of Wales library.

He is currently eagerly reviewing work opportunities as a Games Designer in the UK and overseas.
