Experience Summary 1990 - 2003
Various
1990 – 2003 (13 years)
I have been involved within the technology industry since leaving school, working for companies such as Granada Group, Laskys, Cam-Era technologies as well as freelancing work. Throughout this time I have witnessed the changes within the industries and have seen how the drivers behind them have changed from equipment based technologies to the Internet age of content, communication and interactivity.
By seeing and experiencing these changes within the industry I was able to identify that I wanted to be part of the content proposition led side of the business, and felt the best route to pursue my passion was to return to full time education.
My work experience has entailed demonstrating and installation of audio visual equipment systems, in depth technical product knowledge, being able to listen to customers requirements and interpret them to provide solutions which fit with those needs. Event based co-ordination
and hands on event creation, as well as being able to work independently using my initiative. Having good communication skills and above all being a good team player.
