I am passionately committed to the development of more engaging and cost-effective interventions in the field of offender management and the reduction of reoffending.
Using my experience of the prison and probation operations at both an operational and strategic level, I have contributed to the development and facilitation of consortia of organisations looking to bid for funding and subsequently provide services aimed at reducing the rate of reoffending, recidivism and prevention of first-time offending.
I am a qualified Prince2 practitioner, and have extensive experience of working in the private and voluntary sectors with the socially disadvantaged and those who are unrepresented and disenfranchised to improve their chances of avoiding the trap of slipping into offending. 15 years experience working in private and voluntary sector with socially excluded and disadvantaged groups.
Experience in designing and implementing projects to improve opportunites for offenders.
Undertaken Leadership & Management training, Prince 2 project management and a qualified A1 Assessor.
Goals: To influence change and make a difference!
Negotiating, communicating, partnership development, influencing, networking, project development, supply chain development, market positioning, capacity building, conference coordination and event management.

Reducing Reoffending group
September 2010 – Present (2 years 10 months)
Owner of Reducing reoffending group on Linkedin with rapidly increasing membership of those engaged with the criminal justice sector, Prison, Probation, Police, Local Authorities, civil society, social enterprise, welfare to work organisations etc.
The objectives for the group is to bring together those who have historically worked in silos so that together we can address the issues which currently prevent a reduction in reoffending.
The group provides networking opportunities, sharing of information and good practice and a safe environment in which open and honest communication is encouraged and business can be exchanged.
Together we have a louder voice which will be heard and greater influence to change policy for the better.
Shortly we will be moving our group to its own home and web site which will further the development of our group and a conference in London on 17th November is planned to bring members together.
We hope that you will join our membership.
