I run Agile Experience, a UK based consultancy specializing coaching teams in agile software development. I am co-author of the first book to be published on "Agile Coaching". For the last 10 years I've been a regular presenter at industry conferences in USA and Europe. Since 2003, I've served the agile community as director of the Agile Alliance, non-profit organization based in USA, and I was conference chair for Agile2008 in Canada.
Coaching teams in agile software development and how to get the best from Kanban, Lean, Scrum, XP, and DSDM.
Also experienced in workshop facilitation - especially retrospectives.

I serve on the board of directors of the Agile Alliance which is a 501(c)(3) non-profit based in USA with thousands of members located around the globe. The Agile Alliance is driven by the values and principles of the Manifesto for Agile Software Development. Our mission is to support those who explore and apply Agile principles and practices to make the software industry productive, humane, and sustainable.
I have been elected to the board for three successive terms and served as an officer of the board as Chair and as Secretary. Over the years, I have benefited from working closely with many agile experts as my fellow board members, such as Ken Schwaber, Mike Cohn, Mary Poppendieck, Brain Marick, Jeff Patton, Linda Rising, Diana Larsen, Esther Derby, Ron Jeffries, and Rebecca Wirfs-Brock. I count myself lucky in this as I learned a great deal about how to solve problems in groups through doing so.
I also served an additional one-year term as Program Director for Agile2008 conference - a conference held in Toronto, Canada that holds the record for largest Agile conference with 1600+ attendees and 300 scheduled sessions. This involved managing budget and coordinating a distributed team that included many volunteers. I also acted as Product Owner for the Agile2008 (and Agile2009) submission systems.
I continue to direct the Conference Sponsorship program which has allocated $100k to conferences around the world since I founded it in 2004.
