Senior Java Developer, Founder of Our Technical Guys Ltd and One Stop Web Systems Ltd
London, United Kingdom
Our prime focus in the first year was to prove the business model and to develop a robust IT infrastructure (based on VMWare ESXi virtualization) that would combine reliable remote working with excellent backup and DR capability, plus industry standard code control and bug tracking. We now own and maintain our own live, staging and development servers and are confident that we can scale rapidly to match larger job requirements. This increased level of capacity allows us to maintain demo systems such as Rhythmyx, XML2Web and Alfresco.
We have established an excellent working relationship with existing clients that has lead to more work and increased visibility in the public and private sectors.
For 2010 – it’s all about new business. The Financial Reporting side of the company is getting noticed with the XML2Web proving its power and reliability (http://www.ourtechnicalguys.com/case_studies.html). Additionally we have been invited to develop the second phase of a major public sector website after successfully completing Phase One (using Percussion’s Rhythmyx CMS – now called CM System).
We are looking forward to the defrosting of many projects after the long cold recession, and to being able to grow significantly over the next 18 months.
cheers
