Working for a multi award winning ISP agency Billington Cartmell, Sales Promotion Agency of the Year 2007, 2008, 2009 with Multiple MCCA and ISP Gold Awards.

My immediate role here involves making sure that digital projects are produced on time and on budget reporting directly to MD level. Management of a team of digital designers and developers and trying to push the boundaries of digital production and digital marketing.

Whilst at BCL and as a dual role I have also set-up and manage the physical development servers (SVN, Trac, Apache Development VHOSTs, File Sharing, Automated Build and Testing using Cruise Control). Setup the internal intranet and development wiki using the powerful Dekiwiki and Trac.

I also utilise technology platforms such as Basecamp and Springloops for external development and production teams.

I also work with the developers in design, build and production of bespoke websites and applications.

Primary role was in Application Design and Build for a VOIP based desktop application engineered using Netbeans Rich Client Platform and Apache Commons technologies.

Also jointly developed a backed XML Server using Apache Mina while talking to an Asterisk platform (asterisk.org) running on a Linux server.
