My professional background is in both journalism and new media: I was Editor of Internet Monthly for two years, and involved in the launch of the first MP3 music magazine, MP3X; I then managed the launch of the Education-Quest family of websites for an educational magazines publisher, before joining UCE Birmingham as a lecturer.
