As a freelance designer and as a student I have worked on many projects in diverse media, from book illustration to content management systems.
I’m currently self-employed setting up yoomoot.com, a collaboration-focused social networking site. As such, I have complete control over my own time and welcome opportunities to work on an ad hoc basis in areas I am passionate about: interaction design, usability and online collaboration.

MA Interactive Media , 2007 — 2008
Graduated with Pass with Distinction
This MA consisted of a series of group projects where each team is given a problem and a few weeks to conceive, prototype, usability test, develop and then present and justify a working solution. There was a strong focus on usability issues: providing personal tutoring from an experienced usability expert and visiting lecturers from usability-focused companies such as IDEO.
My dissertation was entitled ‘Is a user-centred design process suitable for social interaction design?’ and was about the strengths and limitations of the user-centred design process when applied to the design of social media applications.
