What is LANZen?

LANZen is my technology and strategy consultancy. Technology has been my life since college; from NCR through to Olivetti, Wang Global, ICL, then on my own with LANZen from 2000.

LANZen provides great strategy ideas to a range of businesses, from City banks at exec level to local start-ups. I set up celebrity chef Jamie Oliver and could do the same for you, too.

  I started out as an IT engineer - fixing things that stopped people working.
  
  That gave me a unique approach to IT strategy and design. How can I fix what doesn't work and make what does work, work better?
  
  That worked. I found I was designing corporate infrastructures in City banks, national service centres and even helping prestige clients like Jamie Oliver.
  
  But after years of designing enterprise level infrastructures around Microsoft architectures, I've realised the Internet is changing everything.
  
  What used to cost a great deal of money to build in a data centre has been built much better in "The Cloud" - the Internet.
  
  So, that's what LANZen is about today. Tomorrow, who knows what we'll be able to do. I just know that I'll be keeping LANZen looking forward.
  
  I work on HOW to do it and let my clients concentrate on WHAT they want to do.
