Sales Manager at TheLadders.co.uk
London, United Kingdom
I am Sales Manager in the recruitment advertising industry and have 10 years. Previously I have set-up, run and built agency teams at Monster Worldwide, Fish4 and TheLadders. For 18 months I set up and ran my own company, called MyLongLunch, which was the first speed networking company for the recruitment industry. My client base ranged from new start-ups like BraveNewTalent and Wikijob, to companies the size of Telegraph Media Group and Express Newspapers.
I currently work for TheLadders as Sales Manager.
Sales, promotion, account managment, sales managment, PR, marketing, building infastructure.

(Privately Held; Retail industry)
October 2006 — July 2008 (1 year 10 months)
I started MyLongLunch after realising there was a big gap in the market for organised speed networking events with more focus on selling and less on drinking. I grew the business over 18 months and in that time held 50 live events and launched MyLongLunch.com, the first social network for the recruitment industry. The market turned and it was evident we had neither the resources nor experience and it was time to move on.
(Online Media industry)
December 2006 — October 2007 (11 months)
I joined fish4 in order to develope the ad agency channel. Within the 11 months I was there I built a solid team, raised awareness of fish4 offering in the industry, improved internal PR and developed leaders of today.
