Initial position applied for was to support one of the warehouse shift managers with office administration. Due to the nature of the logistics business and the depot I worked in, the role developed into one that required being hands on with anything that needed doing.

My keenness to step out of my comfort zone won me the trust of the depot manager and from this I got heavily involved in dealing with monthly KPI reporting, Customs and Excises paperwork, maintenance of the depots PCs and even loading up pallets on the back of articulated lorries.
