I work as a Voiceover Artist, mainly from my own home studio in Kennington, South London. I work for clients large and small, providing both live voiceover sessions and fully-produced voice voice tracks for projects including corporate videos, training and eLearning, promos and narrations, commercials, audiobooks and phone systems. I also work regularly for the BBC World Service as an Announcer and Newsreader, broadcasting live to a global weekly audience of over 180 million people.
I am hoping to connect with new clients for future projects; with other Voiceover Artists for networking and support; and with anyone who wants to find out more about our changing business and needs advice. I aim to forge mutually beneficial, ongoing relationships with my clients, and my aim is to be the first name they think of when they need a fast, reliable Voice Actor for their latest production or project. And if I can't help you myself, there's a good chance I know someone who can!
I pride myself on being able to turn voice tracks around promptly, to the highest standards and with a minimum of fuss. I respond well to direction and am blessed with good sight-reading skills from years of working with last-minute script changes on radio and television. My voice is characterised by being warm yet authoritative; fresh but credible, and this is reflected in a broad range of clients and projects to date, samples and testimonials for which are available on my website.
I've worked in the media for twenty years, as a radio producer/presenter, TV continuity announcer, TV director, promo producer, and now as a full-time Voiceover Artist. This background means I know how the various aspects of the production process work, how producers and directors think, and, as a result, how to deliver what the client wants. I'm happy to be finding new outlets for my work across the world, thanks to the joy of internet delivery, ISDN and new VOIP technologies like Source-Connect and AudioTX.
