Generated awareness of service and responded to Requests for Proposals, winning contracts for European and/or Global work with major technology and pharmaceutical clients.
• Responsible for selling and extending ‘Spend Analysis’ service to one of the premier global strategy firms. Oversaw the set up of operational delivery from the offshore centre in Mumbai, meeting the client’s high expectations of turnaround time for data analysis and quality of output and resulting in contract renewal and additional sales of software and services.
• Led the team tasked with delivering cost savings for a major FMCG brand’s European operation. Identified and prioritised sourcing activity, oversaw procurement, delivering a €multimillion saving.
• Responsible for the sale and delivery of two programmes to an international industrial manufacturer, to help structure the global procurement function and generate rapid cost savings. Led a team of 7 to successfully deliver €multimillion savings.
• Provided outsourced data management, procurement and contract management services to a global technology company. Rebuilt relationship with an unhappy client and established strong working relationships with the new European client stakeholders. The outcome was a successful service which centralised all procurement activities for 20 EMEA territories for the first time in the company’s history and subsequent major savings and significant process efficiencies.
