  I was one of the 2008 Global Scholars at the Kauffman Foundation learning about business and entrepreneurship. Initial 6 months in the UK building on business idea and creating a network. Followed by spending time at the Kauffman Foundation, Stanford, Harvard and MIT throughout the 6 months in the USA gaining knowledge, creating a formidable network and building on business ideas. 3 months was also taking an active role within a small med-tech company start up in my case, dealing with business plan and grant writing, research and development and other negotiations needed to run the company (Invivo Therapeutics Ltd)
