This is a not-for-profit organisation providing publications, networking and web development solutions to the careers and education sectors. My duties involved full website development of both front and back end. I developed and was responsible for the following websites:
http://www.planitplus.net
http://www.ceg.org.uk
The CPD Service websites I developed are for school staff within the local authority. It allows them to book onto courses and maintain their training and development records online. Local Authority clients include South Ayrshire, East Ayrshire, North Ayrshire, East Renfrewshire, Renfrewshire, East Dunbartonshire, West Dunbartonshire and Highland.
My main duties involved creating and maintaining web applications for the Education sector. I also trained staff (including school teaching staff) in the use of the web applications I created. While working here I was also involved in the hiring process and interviews of developers.

I assisted worldwide customers daily with their enquiries and problems related to Via Voice, IBM's Speech software. To do this I used PC and Apple computer systems to test the products and determine the problem with an aim to finding a solution.
