Tech Team Lead at Digital Service Design at Tieto
Stockholm Area, Sweden
I have been working with online media, marketing and web sites since -94 in a variety of roles and positions, both in my own company as well as within a number of large multinational companies. I have been involved in numerous award winning (BIMA, Cannes Cyberlion Gold & Silver, Agency of the Year 4 separate times, and runner up another 2 times, Revolution Awards, Campaign Awards etc) companies and projects for several of the roles I have had, without ever loosing sight of the fact that it has been a team effort that has taken us where we are at the time.
Earlier in my career I was (jokingly) called a "code fascist" as I take pride in excellent code. One of my previous bosses said "the reason you are so good at programming is because you hate it, and you hate doing things twice". Even though I found it a bit harsh at the time the core of it was true (even though I think "hate" is a strong word that I rarely use). I try to make sure the teams I manage live up to, and exceed, that level of excellence as well, all while I keep them as happy, carefree and focused as possible.
I have yet to encounter an online problem that I can not solve or can not explain why it can't be solved. I learn (at least) one new thing every day and this is important to me, as it firstly was my curiosity that took me into this business and I'm basically working with my hobby, but also to ensure I stay on top, and preferably ahead, of things.
