In my current role, I look after a small team of developers and oversee a range of technical projects at Harvest Digital, a full service digital marketing agency in London.
In this multi-faceted role, I am responsible for all technology concerns within this successful and rapidly growing digital marketing agency - working alongside the creative and media departments to offer technical insight, expertise and strategic thought at all levels.
The nature of our work is extremely varied - I enjoy working with such a wide range of technologies and with all sorts of people to help solve interesting problems - creatively applying interactive media and new technologies.

At Harvest, our team of freelance and full-time developers work across a range of technologies - principally with HTML/CSS/Javascript/AJAX for the user-interface and LAMP (Linux/Apache/MySQL/PHP) for the back-end - including Rich Internet Application development, integration with existing systems, creating bespoke solutions or tailoring open source applications.
I am responsible for the delivery of technical projects as well as new business development and the leading of the technical team - ensuring all development work is appropriately resourced and delivered on time, to acceptable levels of quality and productivity. I oversee resource planning, liaise with account/project managers, and assist in sizing work, reviewing functional specifications, costing and regularly meet with and present to clients.

This included hands-on coding, site and database maintenance, producing technical project documentation and setting and achieving production milestones whilst mentoring junior team members.
