    Lucozade is the 7th biggest grocery brand in the UK and dominates the energy and sport drinks category. I am responsible for making the marketing department more digitally focused and help setup an environment in which it can operate. Other responsibilities include:
    • Creating overall digital platforms and strategic media opportunities for the Lucozade brand, and for the separate product ranges.
    • Developing new procedures within the marketing department while further designing unique use of digital media.
    • Work with the supporting agencies to optimise search engine marketing, and challenge their ideas of digital and how it will impact on the more traditional ways in which they operate.
    • Consistently lead and organise ongoing workshops with the marketing team to help them understand the constantly evolving digital landscape.
    • Oversee internal departments and suppliers to improve systems and processes that currently make running digital within the department challenging.

    • Develop best practices and standards when it comes to data management.

    I climbed my way up the development teams ladder - working on great brands like Jaguar, Land Rover, Aston Martin, Bentley, B&W, Financial Times. The project that notably stands out is the role I played in developing a eCRM solution for our clients to us for lead generation. Currently it is globally deployed on 5 brands and has over 2 million users registered. It's from this project that I got a taste of online CRM and the challenges surrounding it. Hence my move into Data Planning and Analysis - the strategy side of it is more challenging.

Platinum Guild stood out as the most challenging as I was the key developer on a global site that was translated into 6 languages.

I moved around a lot in the company once head office poached my from the franchise I started in. At one point I did a roadshow in a custom built van to promote mutli-media. It was at the end of this period I decided to immigrate to the UK.
