Working closely with SCIP to improve the way community groups get online and get heard. Now we have Wordpress (for example), training and education becomes more interesting. Developing courses, e-learning, communities of practice, clinics and other educational vehicles to ensure digital inclusion for smaller groups that are poised to have a big impact. Courses cover intro to the social web, stakeholder mapping, key message, Wordpress hands on through to project management, community building and promotion.

This is the first SCIP-led community website project of it's kind, using Wordpress and an expanded notion of what's possible when you empower a community to become web publishers and social media agents at large! Feedback and results have been excellent in terms of inclusion, social capital and cohesion.

Rediscovered the love of crafting clear communication and getting into the architecture of information.
Editing a vast online and printed resource to empower people to use their voice, get organised, connect and be heard.
Covered everything from internet strategy, using mobiles, images (cartoons to photographs), video, audio and print media.
Wrote the introductory section on communications strategy and additional material for Print, Internet and Images sections.
A very powerful and positive project. A joy to have been involved with. Feedback from users has been excellent so far, with more work to be done down the track to refine and renew this essential resource.
Having had nearly two decades experience in editing/writing - it was great to rekindle this and I am keen to hear from more people with small and large editing/writing projects.
