I was employed by Einstein Plc, a digital TV broadcaster, to set up and manage Einstein Learning, a Coventry,UK-based bespoke eLearning development studio.
I reported directly to the group's CEO and had full budgetary control. Einstein Learning was subsequently sold to FSDC Plc, a multi-service people and process development services group, alongside Einstein Network (video-based CPD) for whom I lead a project to create an 'e-CPD' technology platform which allowed the company to evolve from its VHS-based distribution model and to thus align its business model to the changing digital media landscape.

The company was set up to exploit the rapidly expanding demand for eLearning content solutions. The company carried out projects mainly across the Midlands (UK) and for many private and public sector organisations and was the runner up for the Deacon Awards in 2001.
In Jan 2001 we became part of Einstein Channel Plc (digital TV broadcaster, CPD and media production) in order to be able to offer stronger commercial propositions and in order to acquire greater R&D resources.

OK, I didn't get the scroll and another graduation picture - setting up a start up technology co and starting a family meant that I didn't have the time to complete this postgrad degree - but the research that I undertook, both literary and practical, laid the groundwork for my fixation for improving learning technologies.
