An inaugural member of the Porter Novelli EMEA Digital team, my overarching remit is to make every account handler increasingly, and intrinsically, digital. My aim is that every client team should be comfortable in selling, discussing, creating and executing digital services as part of integrated communications plan. To that end I am responsible for strategy development, creation of digital services, devising and delivering training, both internal and external. I am responsible for the development and running of the PN Digital Ambassador network, a pan-global network of fully trained digital specialists who distribute knowledge and share best practice. I also work with a whole range of clients, such as London Digital Week, British Telecom, HP, Braun, Almond Board of California, AstraZeneca and Proctor & Gamble on local, regional and global campaigns. I.
I'm also in charge of supplier evaluation and in raising external awareness of Porter Novelli's digital capabilities and social media knowledge. I am part of the PN marketing team and have ran several successful workshops for clients and prospects, including the PN Guide to Everything Twitter, the hashtag for which trended for two hours.
Prior to joining the digital team, I was an account director in one of the most accomplished PR Technology Practices in the UK. I headed the UK accounts for Hewlett Packard's Technology and Personal Systems groups and was the account lead for its Imaging and Printing Group EMEA function as well as supporting the PSG EMEA team on special project planning and implementation. Other clients included Easynet, for who I developed a centralised Pan-EMEA PR programme and agency network. I was also solely responsible for all of my clients channel strategy media communication, regarding that area as a particular specialty.
