Summary

Having now worked in Sales roles for 4 years, I am currently an Account Manager at the leading IT provider in Europe. I began my career in recruitment before moving into product and solutions-based sales and I have worked my way up the sales chain to my current position.

In my roles I have developed a passion for customer services led account management; focused on providing the best service for my customers first - knowing it will lead to a positive, trustworthy and ultimately profitable relationship.

Ideally, I would like to move towards technology/product-specific sales or vendor alliances/partner management. I am also open to positions that are not necessarily sales in nature depending on their focus and industry.

My role at Computacenter comprises of a number of key areas in facilitating the sales process to ensure its swift and successful completion. My key focus is customers in the Industry and Commercial verticals to ensure an exceptional level of service to help nurture and grow their business. In this position my role encompasses:

- working within strict, monitored SLAs;
- sourcing pricing and preparing quotes via product overview and product management;

When the position became available, I jumped at the chance to take on a full-time Sales role. I have whole-heartedly embraced the position and look forward to client-facing meetings to discuss their requirements and the options available.

My original role at Bright began with supporting the Sales team by managing the Sales process. Specifically this meant:
- fielding the incoming Sales calls;

Hardware builds;
- due diligence to ensure profit margins are maintained;
- and general internal and external purchasing.

I continued to learn and develop my Sales abilities in due course over the next few weeks as I began to join the Sales team at client meetings. I was very keen to make the step up and was fortunate to be given the chance when the then Sales Manager left the company.

As a member of the gym, I showed interest in a part-time position and was successful. My background in Sports Science was an obvious advantage on the gym floor while I was expected to complete a number of administrative tasks.

• Developing exercise routines and collaborating with members to assess their goals and how we can address them.

Fuelling my entrepreneurial desire, I launched an online shop for sports supplements called Protein Hunter using my savings. My background in sports science gave me valuable knowledge about my products, while my passion for computing and fledgling business accumen helped me produce the website. The website was very successful, and unfortunately was ended due to complications with my supplier. Nonetheless, I feel it was a very positive experience and one I intend to revive sometime in the future.
