Summary

Humanising businesses is my passion and I have embarked on this journey to share my HR knowledge and international experience in an open and inclusive manner. I consult with organisations to understand what makes their people tick and how their beliefs, values and passions tie into what they want to deliver.

I have held international corporate roles within oil & gas over the last 19 years. I grew up in Abu Dhabi and have worked in Karachi, Aberdeen, Houston and now London, which is home.

I am a Certified NLP Practitioner and I hold an MBA degree from the University of Karachi and an MSc in HR Management from the University of Manchester. I speak several languages, with Farsi as my mother-tongue.

BP IST (Integrated Supply & Trading) is the market-facing component of BP’s trading activities. It combines all the oil, gas, power and chemical trading activities, and has a dedicated financial markets trading team that manages their daily exposure to global currency and interest rate fluctuations.

In this role, I was accountable for partnering with the business leaders heading up Finance, Risk and IT&S along with their global leadership teams to deliver on the IST People Plan both personally and through my team of HR Business Partners.

This role's remit was for approximately 1700 supply and trading functions staff globally based in Houston, Chicago, Singapore, Calgary and London.

ETS is eni's commodities trading arm for crude oil, refined products, natural gas, power & emissions with its international head quarters based in London. I was accountable for all international branches of eni's trading business outside of Italy, namely London, Singapore, Brussels and Houston.

Key focus was on partnering with the business from a front, middle and back office perspective for service delivery of HR excellence and of global HR initiatives. I led an HR team, where we worked with the business to drive performance, attract and retain core talent. Emphasis was on business transformation to restructure with an enhanced employer brand.
