George Overton's Summary
To raise large amounts of money, you need to know your prospective donors inside out: their wealth, career, networks, donations to charities, family background, potential talking points, and more.
I can research your prospects so you can develop better relationships with your major givers, and obtain large donations year after year.
I can offer one page (or longer) profiles of your prospective major donors, based on information in the public domain; profiles of companies and charitable trusts; and wealth screenings, to identify potentially wealthy people on your database, either in house or via an external screening agency.
Your first one page report, on a prospect of your choice, is free.
I have over 10 years experience of fundraising, research and Raiser’s Edge fundraising database management. I have particular experience with major donors, charitable trusts, legacies and direct mail.
My freelance clients have included the Brain and Spine Foundation, Dimbleby Cancer Care, Elizabeth Finn Care, the Powerlist Foundation, and Sue Ryder Care. I have also worked for national charities including Home-Start, Methodist Homes for the Aged, and the Motor Neurone Disease Association.
