As UK Editor, I contribute to one of the fastest growing European blogs, which reports on everything that influences the future of the Web.
The Next Web profiles interesting products, start-ups and existing companies that are building The Next Web, or the future of the internet (or Web 2.0, as you like). My main role is sourcing and writing stories and conducting interviews from the UK, as well as copy editing, and sub editing contributions from my non-native English speaking colleagues.
The readership is largely web startups, VCs and entrepreneurs, and the editorial team, rather than just a team of journalists, is made of entrepreneurs slash writers, developers slash consumers. Weekly pageviews are over 75k, with over 7000 RSS readers and 4500 twitter followers.
The Next Web Blog is closely associated with the annual Next Web Awards and the Next Web Conference, held annually each April in Amsterdam. Tickets are still available for this year's 15-17 April event at http://2009.thenextweb.com
See you in Amsterdam this April.

Your online presence is your first (and often your last) chance to make an impression. No matter how impressive your online contribution to discussions, groups, providing answers, assisting and advising others - your profile is the touchstone and reference point.
It’s a combination of a sales pitch, a personal presentation, a business card, a brochure, a personal statement, a list of recommendations, a mini web-site, and a wave from across the room.
Does it work as hard as you do? I ensure your footprint is in the right place, and is the right shoe size, whether you are an individual, or organisation.
