This was a business operations executive role, reporting to the board of a major Reinsurance, Life and Pensions organisation for one of four business functions. Role was to take them through a change programme and create a new business function from various areas of the business, apply organisational design to allow the implementing of operational structures, processes, technologies, systems and procedures as well as the recruitment and refinement of members of the function as you would expect.
It was also required to recover a major segment of a 2.8million policy, £60m+ commercial business programme while building strong relationship with i9nternal and external clients and recovering control of the programme and the clients’ trust.
During this time it was necessary to undertake a core system replacement of the document composition solution. This was undertaken against a very aggressive timescale from PFR to selection (3 months) and then implementation. In addition to these activities I was also requested to take on the responsibility for the operation and improvement of the Automated and System Testing functions.
