About me:
I am a director of Outperform, a registered consultant (PPM, PRINCE2) and was the lead author for PRINCE2 2009. I have helped implement PRINCE2 in numerous organisation across 15 countries (Europe, Asia, North America, Africa, Middle East).
Of particular interest for me is the area of project/programme assurance. I've helped organisations implement audit/assurance schemes and update their project management processes to comply with governance legislation (e.g. Sarbanes-Oxley). In 2004 I started the Chartered Director programme with the IOD as a means to link good practice project/programme governance with corporate governance requirements. I'm pleased to report that in October 2006 I gained Chartered Director status.
I have been using maturity models as a consulting aid for some 8+ years and find them an invaluable tool to help diagnose the root cause of problems to help formulate cost-effective improvement solutions.
In 2007 I was appointed by OGC to be the Lead Author for the PRINCE2 refresh. The revised method (PRINCE2 2009) will be launched on 16th June 2009.
I manage the PRINCE2 group on LinkedIn. http://www.linkedin.com/groupRegistration?gid=40653
