The Drift is an intensive accelerator programme for digital businesses that will start in March 2012. Applications will open in December 2011.
15 start up or early stage companies will be given a £15k+ seed fund to turn their business in to a viable concern over a 3 month period. They have independent Legal advice, Accountancy advice, office space, accommodation, training and the guidance of a group of 60 experienced and high profile mentors.
At the end of the process, the companies will pitch their ideas to a panel of Venture Capitalists and Super Angels for assessment and next stage funding.
This process will be documented digitally from start to finish in a fly on the wall documentary and the content promoted extensively online and in traditional media channels.
Significant investment will be given to the marketing activities to promote the programme digitally and in the Media through PR.
