Akua is US born but bred in the UK.
Trained in Performing Arts, followed by a minor stint in newspaper advertising sales, Akua developed her appreciation for having a ‘birds eye view’ on creative process. After studying arts administration she established a career comprised of roles from Project Co-ordinator to General Manager, through several arts organisations (C Venues, BAC, IWF, Central School of Speech & Drama, Watermans), eventually becoming Administrative Director of Kazzum, producing touring theatre for children and young people.
