Aidann Bowley’s Summary

I'm a self-employed/freelance web designer based in the UK with my own clients but also subcontracting to other agencies, designers and developers.

I have 10 years practice and exposure working with clients on web design and marketing projects. They have come from a wide range of backgrounds, from small businesses and private individuals through to services in the financial and insurance sectors, the clerical and medical professions, organisations involved with tourism and heritage, and cutting edge arts and design companies.

I have experience around the full cycle of a website's development from initial consultations and planning to post-launch marketing and have worked on sites at varying stages of their lifecycles, from conceptualisation, through repairs, modifications, additions and maintenance round to redesigns and migrations. I have worked at most facets of a website from the visible aspects of its design (logo, layout, colourschemes, templates, architecture) and content (copy, illustrations, photographs), to behind the scenes in the code ((X)HTML, CSS, Javascript, PHP and Actionscript) and at the backend (hosting, domain names, site statistics).

I am a member of the ExpressionEngine Pro Network and have been producing custom addons for EE.

I'm looking to build mutually beneficial relationships with agencies (on a freelance basis), other creatives (partnering to provide the skillset they lack, e.g. code for the designer, or design for the developer), and with new clients (directly). I'm particularly interested in people who have an involvement in the arts or culture.

In my other life I'm also an artist.
