The Guild:
• offers a meeting place, a home, for those who wish to explore the religious and spiritual quest enhanced by the insights of psychology, in particular Depth psychology and its contributions to insights into religion, its symbols and their relevance to everyday life
• fosters fellowship, is open, safe and welcoming, egalitarian, respectful of different perspectives
• aims to facilitate self-reflection and soul making, to be life enhancing and connected with the collective
• will educate and disseminate basic and advanced concepts through experiential local small groups and workshops, lectures and conferences, and printed and online resources
• will provide a means of communicating and understanding recent and challenging new developments:
o particularly those inspired by the works of CG Jung, especially his concepts of the Symbolic Life and the archetypes of the unconscious
o in ground breaking and cutting edge new work in support of the zeitgeist (i.e. the spirit of our times), in contemporary, cultural, intellectual, ethical and political issues
• will support initiatives in the Arts and Sciences, in creative thinking (with heart, Eros, and with logic, Logos)
• has global outlook and aspirations, and will be evangelistic, missionary and influential in its support for the religious and spiritual quest per its vision. « less
